Vedic Mathematics # How to Multiply 11 with any number in less than 5 second
In this age
of technology and computers, we are gradually becoming dependent on calculator
for simple calculations, today I am initiating series of wisdom in this blog,
which will enable you to calculate with ease and with-in five seconds and
certainly, at much faster rate than processing and typing time used in
calculation with a calculator.
These tips
are based on Vedic Mathematics comes from the Vedic Tradition of India. The Sanskrit
word “Veda” means “knowledge” and the Vedas are considered most ancient
document of knowledge and wisdom, passed down verbally for generation’s and
written atleast 5000 year ago. Vedic Math contains a list of mental calculation techniques.

The system is based on 16 Vedic sutras or aphorisms, which are actually

will focus on technique to multiply 11 with any number, Let’s start with 72*11
In 72, first digit is 7, the last digit is
2
While
multiplying with 11, the first is first digit i.e 7, Product middle will be sum of two digit i.e 7+2=9, the last digit of
product will always be last digit of initial number i.e 2 for 72 ,
Thus product
of 72*11 is 7, 9, 2 or 792
Now, let’s
do it for 53*11 =5.5+3,3=583,
and now
41*11=4, 4+1, 1=451
Similarly,
62*11=6, 6+2, 2=682
71*11=7,7+1,1=781
34*11=3,3+4,4=374
25*11=2,5+2,5=275
31*11=3,3+1,1=341
and so
on, 54*11=5, 5+4, 4=594
In case, sum
of 2 digits exceeds 9, the first digit is added accordingly i.e in 28*11=2,
2+8, 8=2, 10, 8=308
19*11=1,
1+9, 9=209
87*11= 8,
8+7, 7=957
49*11=4,
4+9, 9=4.13, 9=539
55*11=5,5+5,5=605
66*11=6,6+6,6=726
75*11=7,12,5=825
84*11=8.12,4=924
97*11=9,16,7=1067
Using the
technique, you can now multiply any number with 11 with-in five seconds
